I need serious help. I've tried everything. I have a Gateway NE56R10u that I had to do a re-install of 7 home premium. When it booted, it has no Network Controller Driver, Base System Device, SM Bus Controller, and I don't have wireless. WTF. I went to Device manager, and it had no network devices. Therefore, I hopped on my other laptop, downloaded the driver for the Broadcom adapter and installed it. Device manager now says device is working properly. It isn't. I have disabled SSId on router, checked that the computer is running on high performance, restarted entire network, and re-updated it via wifi tethering to my phone. All to no avail.
